What You’ll Be Doing:

• Engaging with clients and other staff to ensure proactive tax planning.
• Preparing and reviewing business, fiduciary, and individual tax returns.
• Overseeing income tax correspondence, including developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
• Providing ongoing training for staff to promote efficient preparation of tax returns and develop tax expertise.
• Diving deep into technical tax-related issues in order to guide clients.
• Gaining exposure to foreign taxation, sales/use tax, and payroll tax.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• Progressive experience working in the tax department of a CPA firm
• CPA designation or EA designation required, or actively pursuing; MST also a plus
• Strong background in preparation of individual and business returns
• Experience in reviewing returns
• Skilled in performing tax research using various resources
