Cray Kaiser Employee Spotlight: Eva Koziel

In Cray Kaiser’s Employee Spotlight series, we highlight a member of the CK team. We couldn’t be more proud of the team we’ve grown and we’re excited for you to get to know them. This month we’re shining our spotlight on Eva Koziel.

GETTING TO KNOW EVA

Eva is part of CK’s Accounting Services team and has played an integral role in helping develop this new department for the firm. She works closely with clients to review, implement and help them manage their accounting needs. Alongside her team members, Eva serves as an outsourced controller to aid clients in accounting, bookkeeping, and training services.

Prior to joining the CK team, Eva worked for three years in public accounting with a focus in tax accounting. She then spent 15 years in the private sector as a controller and business owner for her family-owned business. Her hands-on experience working in a business that is core to CK’s competency gives her incredible insight into what her clients experience day-to-day. Eva is passionate about empowering her clients with the tools and information they need to succeed. It’s what she does best!

WHY CK?

In 2016 Eva joined the CK team because she was drawn to the firm’s focus on family-owned businesses. Over the years, she has grown to appreciate her team’s commitment to each other and their clients. Eva shared an example, “I have a ‘go-go’ attitude and one time during tax season a colleague stopped me in my tracks by saying ‘Remember, tax season is a marathon not a sprint’. I loved that this person cared and had my back.” She feels that this one instance exemplifies several of CK’s core values, including “Care”, “Trust” and “People”.
