That undercurrent of energy you feel when you walk into the Cray Kaiser office? The one that makes you feel that in all the hustle-and-bustle things are perfectly in order and progressing exactly as needed? That feeling is courtesy of Cindy McClain, Cray Kaiser’s Firm Administrator/Manager since 2011.
As the resident “CPA for the CPAs”, Cindy works closely with the administrative team at Cray Kaiser to manage the operations of the growing firm, overseeing everything from human resources to the firm’s own accounting. She focuses on the business of the firm so the partners and staff can focus on their clients’ businesses.
A true CPA by training, Cindy started her career in international banking before joining Cray Kaiser for her first tenure in 1998. As a Senior Staff Accountant, she assisted many of Cray Kaiser’s family business clients with complicated tax returns and accounting services via her certification as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. A client-side opportunity wooed Cindy away from the firm for a few short years before she rejoined in 2011 to manage the day-to-day operations. Knowing all sides of the accounting field – as a practicing accountant, on the client side and now a firm administrator – gives Cindy a unique perspective on Cray Kaiser. And might just be the reason why she is the firm’s biggest cheerleader.
Cindy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University.
